Trilj Regional Museum

Explores, preserves and documents the cultural heritage of the area of Trilj, primarily its archaeological heritage, followed by the ethnographic and the cultural and historical heritage. The protected museum materials encompass an Ancient Collection which includes the findings from the Tilurium site - a Roman military camp on the location of the village of Gardun, a Prehistoric Collection with objects from the Neolithic to the new era, dating back to the first open-type settlements along the river Cetina, a Collection of the Middle Ages with the findings from the bed of the river Cetina, a Numismatics Collection with coins from ancient times from the Tilurium site, and an Ethnographic Collection with traditional objects important in promoting the knowledge of the traditional culture of Trilj.
