In Jabuka near Trilj, sculptor Stipe Sikirica was born (April 29th 1933).

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1958, under the direction of professor Vanja Radauš. He was an assistant professor at the same Academy from 1969 and a professor since 1978, and he held the title of dean on two different occasions (1979-1980 and 1994-1995).

“Mladenci" (Newlyweds), his sculpture, is located at Gaz (Jabuka).
